MAURIZIO LAZZARATO - THE MACHINE OF CONTEMPORARY CAPITALISM BETWEEN FINANCE, WORK, TECHNOLOGY AND POWER

Maurizio Lazzarato, a sociologist and philosopher, lives and works in Paris, where he conducts research on the transformation of work and the new forms of social movements. He is the author of several essays including The Man Made Workforce (2012), The Government of Indebted Man (2013), Marcel Duchamp and the Rejection of Work (2014). Introduce Urs Stahel

Philippe-Joseph Salazar is a French philosopher, a student of Jacques Derrida and Roland Barthes. Director from 1998 to 2004 of the Collège international de philosophie, is professor emeritus of Rhetoric at Cape Town University, South Africa, and holds seminars at universities all over the world. In 2015 he received the Prix Bristol des Lumières for his wartime essay. Introduce Urs Stahel

Victor I. Stoichita is an ordinary professor of Modern Art History at the University of Freiburg and History of Forms at the University of Lugano Switzerland. He has been researching and teaching at numerous international institutions such as the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, the Berlin Wissenschaftskolleg, the Max-Planck-Institut in Rome. He has been Visiting Professor at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, the Humanities Study School in Bologna and Harvard University (USA).
