I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. I recently received an MFA in Photography from Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. I work with video, sound, and still images investigating the themes of perception, identity, absence, and presence.
I am part of an international photographic collective called Scaleno.
Currently I live in Berlin, Germany.

I turn my glance outward and externalize private moments. I look at the members of my family in relation to myself, exploring the complexities and emotional layers of the family dynamic. Closeness, detachment, absence, and presence. Our identity is removed, and what remains are the gestures and the relationship between the body and the space it exists in. Everything is ambiguous as I project my perception of reality. Often a small portion of the body is visible, and isolated in darkness, while other images are close.

It is a cycle of emergence and withdrawal.
