Slideluck Prato

Slideluck Prato is an event by Sedici.

During the event, videos of the 20 selected authors will be showcased.

Also, curators Sara Guerrini (independent photo editor, consultant for Parallelozero Agency), Arianna Rinaldo (director of OjodePez and curator of Cortona On The Move festival) and Paola Paleari (independent critique and curator, vice managing editor of YET Magazine) will be there with Maria Teresa Salvati, chief editor Slideluck Editorial and director Slideluck Europe.

Slideluck is a global no-profit organisation whose mission is to create community through food & art. Slideluck has brought multimedia art shows to over 75 cities around the world featuring over 10,000 artists. Slideluck is free and open to the public. The event will be a community potluck followed by a slideshow featuring 20 selected artists working in Photography & Mixed Media.

Slideluck wasw born in 2003 in New York and, since that year, ithas been bringing events that combine a multimedia slideshow with a potluck dinner to over 85 cities and communities all over the world, from Seoul to Tel Aviv, from Manila to Rome, whwre the first Slideluck in Italy took place..

Slideluck is a forum for exposing artists, curators, collectors, editors, and the public to new work, while infusing the arts community with a non-commercial vitality and refreshing exchange. Slideluck has become a place for artists and arts-appreciators to come together and share their work in a congenial, non-competitive atmosphere. Each event is localized in that artists from a community present work to that community.

SEDICI is a group of free-lance photographers, visual arts experts, editors and curators. The association aims to create and promote cultural events in order to expand the knowledge of photography through exchange of views, with talks, workshop and debates.
