SELF PUBLISH RIGA is a series of events dedicated to photobooks and self-publishing culture, organised by ISSP in Riga, Latvia, as one of the central events of the Riga Photomonth. The programme includes an extensive international exhibition of photobooks and book dummies, series of lectures and talks on book publishing and design by outstanding industry experts and a biannual international photobook dummy competition.

THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES:

An installation The Last of the Lucky / You Can’t Always Get What You Want by Swedish artists Klara Källström and Thobias Fäldt. 

An extensive exhibition featuring several photobook collections, including, Facts and Clarifications curated by Latvian writer and photographer Evita Goze, books from the Balkans curated by Marina Paulenka, founder and director of the International Photography Festival Organ Vida, a collection of books by Sputnik Photos and works by Källström and Fäldt (B-B-B-Books). 

SELF PUBLISH RIGA will also feature artist talks by Peter Puklus, Agnieszka Rayss (Sputnik Photos), Klara Källström & Thobias Fäldt, Marina Paulenka, Tom Mrazauskas (Brave Books) & Michal Iwanowski and Donald Weber.
