The XX edition of PHotoESPAÑA will take place between May 31 and August 27, 2017.
The 20th Anniversary is for PHotoESPAÑA a great opportunity to take a new step forward, 20 years after its birth. The Festival is part of a changing world: in these years photography has had a huge development. In addition, the digital world has given a new dimension both to Art and to the way of communicating it and of presenting itself in society; This offers a great development opportunity for the Festival.
The celebration of the 20th Anniversary in the next two years, 2017 (in which the XX Edition is celebrated) and 2018 (anniversary of our birth), is the opportunity to carry forward new ideas and investments that will consolidate the Festival both nationally and internationally.
We address the celebration of the twentieth edition and the 20 years of birth, reviewing what these 20 years have meant in the field of photography and visual arts. Photo ESPAÑA looks at the past, the present and what is outlined as the future. The national in continuous coexistence with the international. Names fully consecrated together with others hitherto unknown. A sum of points of view that, from each of them in particular, brings a vision, a version of the unique Festival, different and new.
