Nicholas Pollack is based in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated with an MFA in Photography from Hartford Art School, and he earned a BA in Literature and Photography from Sarah Lawrence College. He published his first monograph, Nothing Gold Can Stay, in the summer of 2015.

Nothing Gold Can Stay is a body of work about the fleetingness of youth. Photographs of the boys of Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey describe this ephemerality, and through these photographs Nicholas Pollack intends to access a sense of memory and vulnerability to create an experience of love amid life's chaos and uncertainty.
