The International Photography Award Grand Prix Images Vevey , is one of the largest and longest-standing prizes in Europe. It is project oriented and open to professional artists and photographers or those in training of all ages, worldwide. The grant goes to one project to be produced in one year and that is then exhibited at Festival Images Vevey the following year.
The final jury is composed of five international personalities from the institutional, artistic, curatorial, media and editorial world. Composition of the 2017 jury will be announced soon.
Under the umbrella of Images Vevey, the Images Vevey Book Award is a competition that aims to finance the production of an original book by June 2018, which will be presented at Festival Images Vevey 2018. It supports the creation of a book project that showcases an optimal and original balance between publication format and photographic content. It provides a financial contribution that seeks to encourage artists to take risks and to innovate in order for them to develop a suitable and sophisticated publication format for their photography project.
Images Vevey expects participants to show creativity and originality, both in how they address an issue and in how they design their book project.
The award grants the winner the indivisible sum of CHF 10,000 (approx. EUR 9,000) for the production of an original photography book, which must be carried out in consultation with Images Vevey.

Open to all artists and professional and student photographers, the Grand Prix Images Vevey grants the winner the indivisible sum of CHF 40,000 (approx. EUR 37,000) for the development, achievement and presentation of a project at the following Festival Images.
