Erwin Polanc’s shots exhibit peculiar inherent aesthetics. His records are a sensitive approach to document how individuals try to construct their environments, mostly in areas where rural and urban influences clash violently.

It is hard to find words which are as unbiased as Erwin Polanc’s photos. Coincidental layered writings create a scenery for an environment that cannot capture the disorientation of a fragmented present.

Hannah Arendt says, all human actions are attempts to oppose mortality. Those actions traced in Erwin Polanc’s clear compositions depict life as transitory, as perchance attempts that result in irritating contrasts.
